Today I have a really fun tutorial for you, and just in time for Valentine’s Day! I put together a step-by-step picture tutorial and video tutorial showcasing how to make a heart pom pom.

You all may know that I love making pom poms. I even wrote an ebook about pom pom making: Whimsical Pom-Pom Wreath Ebook. I was recently experimenting with some pom pom art on Instagram, and several of you expressed interest in learning more. So, I decided to start with a heart pom pom tutorial, and you can grab the digital download here: How to Make a Heart Pom Pom. The digital download includes a 10 page step-by-step guide along with a 12 minute video showcasing the whole process.

My hope is that this project will inspire you to play with different color palettes and yarns to create your own unique heart pom poms. You could use them as part of a Valentine’s Day vignette, on a Valentine’s Day wreath, a Valentine’s Day tree, or as part of handmade gift!
