Meet Elizabeth

Elizabeth Jones’s creative spirit started on a farm in Texas as the youngest of five children.

While on the farm, her parents encouraged imagination and DIY efforts. Elizabeth took her work ethic from the farm, and applied it at Texas State University-San Marcos where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and soon began a career as an event coordinator, and public relations specialist. During her tenure as an event coordinator she planned and coordinated weddings, corporate galas, non-profit fundraisers, and children’s parties. After having her third child, Elizabeth moved back to her roots into a charming farmhouse in the country with her husband and her three children. Elizabeth enjoys practicing yoga, antiquing, and crafting which is where her desire to start Country Peony began. Country Peony is a DIY and craft blog that hopes to inspire others to create in their own homes, and have fun along the way!
